What happened to train 353?

Today, I called 1-800-usa-rail to check up on amtrak 353, and all Julie could tell me was "service disruption". nothing came by until 2:40 when a P42 ran east light through Ypsilanti...

I think that this unit was to rescue train 353, but I am not sure. Anyone out there know what happened to train 353?

He ran light from amtrak 353 eb. Not sure exactly where to tho ,i heard the dispatcher talking to him.

Problems with the power--a bad wheel discovered--while sitting in PNT; train was annulled between PNT and AA with the Grey Dog bustituting. 350 was terminated at AA and the train flipped back to CHI as 353 minus the light unit you saw which was on it's way to PNT to lead 355 using 353's equipment which 'only' left about an hour late--------clear as mud??

Guess that would explane what happened yesterday.

Amtrak 352 & 353 had a meet at the Battle Creek Station today.

353 was brought in on main 2 and 352 was brought in on main 1.
