you're about a year late on that news of the engine (too dang ugly anyway )

Mi train is still alive and well. Looking to start trains in spring (even as early as the winter classic in AA)

My last talk with semcog was in August, but sounded liket they have their act mostly together and should have trains next year.. But my hopes are still not too high as "next spring" has been the word for a couple years now.. Nice to see the engine kept it's ugly paint for metro link though!

The engine was never actually owned by the state and it was painted before an actual sale/lease was worked out. It was not, and the leaser took the engine back. It had been working for AMT in Quebec until recently when it was leased out to Metrolink.

Looks like a thin piece of metal for mounting the logo or something like that

Looks like it's got some depth to it...like about 6 inches or so.

It's basically a big sheet of metal that GO Transit (the original owner) put their logo on instead of the nose itself. Might also have been some sort of debris shield, idk.

We're smart enough to (sometimes) not start things that will clearly fail.

We killed 3c before it had time to fester.

At least buried it, as long as the Ohio Association of Rail Passengers is still around, they'll still try to push that turd up the hill...

Honestly I believe a better engine then that should be a F40PH. If this thing ever happens they should use that engine then a F59ph
