X100 is not a second section of Q100 (a second section would be S100). It's an extra train. CSX runs X100's all over the system. Usually bare-tables (as is the case this time), or empty trailers being forwarded.

There is no more Q100. Q100 was discontinued over 6 months ago. UP and CSX couldent get it over the road in the perscribed time, and the pentilates by UPS was costing to much. In fact I think in has been over a year or so, it was the last time UP had there meltdown last summer. The Bull Sheet is out of date. There is a ocasonal Q100, but not the hot hot hot UPS train. Usually you are lucky if there is one a month and usually not even that. X100 is used for intermodal equipment moves all over the system. Apperently these cars are for storage. If for long term storage, more than likley all 89' flats and spine cars. If short term mabey well cars. There has been spine and 89' flats in storage in the Flint are on and off (more on than off) for 4 years now. If not for storage mabey see them head eaast for Livernois soon, but most likely some sort of storage.
