Existing customer of the MSO has added an additional siding just off Bogen Road & Nottawa , This siding runs E-W and runs almost all the way to Nottawa. This is Good ! Looked like Pioneer is doing the work. Frank Miller & Sons is the customer on the very south end of the Sturgis Industrial lead track.

I read Frank Miller gets deicer and salt. Also read they get monthly shipments. Can anyone confirm or correct?

I saw MSO working down near the State line on Monday. Unfortunately I couldn't get a pic.

Well....

The new siding runs perpendicular to the mainline

Looking south on the former GR&I Mainline, the siding that is visible is the original siding

MSO had two engines parked over labor day at the end of the line by the toll road.

I think it's either salt, calcium chloride or something like that. They advertise a environmentally friendly icemelt. I heard they get a few cars a month.

Sodium, calcium, and potassium chlorides and which they repackage in various combinations for icemelt. They also sell urea for ice melt. All from their website.
