Wow they weren't kidding you missed it. :) You all missed meeting me! I was inside during the group shot trying to get warm. It was very cold out. Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to everyone. I had a great time! It was fun to see so many people at Durand which is not something I see much.

For everyone who missed me... I'm Terra. I'm from Midland and I was there on Saturday. I was just there to see trains and ran into a bunch of weird train fans which made my day. I've like Trains for awhile but I've never learned every detail or all the info. I just love being next to them when they fly by on the track.

Well, I will try to post something here once in awhile and I will check in to see what other meets around the state I might get to go to. Thanks again for the great time.

Terra

Did you take the picture of the train by your name? I love the sun in it. Looks like it was a very nice sunset or maybe a sunrise?

Welcome aboard. :D I was not there either. I just want to say it is nice to see that there are some female railfans out there too. Not very common with this hobby. Any questions feel free to ask. There are some great members on this site, even though I haven't met any personally yet, but they are really nice and helpful. Have fun and happy railfanning. :)

Welcome aboard from another railfan who was not around in Durand. Basketball game pep band duty in Kalamazoo is where I was! If you haven't yet, look up the thread where a bunch of board members have posted photos of themselves. It makes it so much easier to get to know people :)

Welcome aboard. I am really ticked now. My boss yanked my vacation day for Saturday on Wednesday afternoon. Good weather, for the season anyway, and a great turnout.

Welcome aboard from the AM/FM Radio Expert! I wasn't there either, but one of these times I'll get to Durand. (I should head out there once just to do an AM dial scan anyway...)
