Railroading In & Around Wayne County, MI

At 7:00 P.M., Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Caroline Kennedy Library located at 24590 George Dearborn Heights, MI a program about railroading in Wayne County will be presented.
The program will cover the early history of railroading in the county as well as history about the county itself. Also present day rail operations will be looked at. Following the oral presentation, a slideshow will follow that will feature various aspects of railroading located throughout the county. Some of the locations that will be featured are: Allen Park, Brownstown Township, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Detroit, Melvindale, New Boston, Plymouth, Wayne and Wyandotte. Some of the locations were photographed back in the mid 1980's and are no longer around today.
