Actually, I have never seen it myself! HAHAHAHA! Come downtown to Plymouth. Go to Farmer St. It is just before the tracks off of Main St.

I can try for it but no gaurentees(spelled that wrong)... They don't like you messing around in the yard area but I might be able to get a quick shot later in the week.

CSX has big poster, "No trespass at CSX property!" Probably, CSX cop is in. If you call them for permission for allow you come in, but I doubt it.

Where abouts is the transfer yard? Is this what they call the East yard on the radio? Is there a good place to park and watch there?

Ok, take Plymouth Rd. West til' you get to where you see a sign for the Sears Warehouse It will be on the North Side of Plymouth Road. There will be a John Rogan Buick Used Car place after the drive (Coming from the West). Before the drive there is a Liquidation Warehouse. Turn at the second traffic light. Go all the way down to the end. You will go through a gate (It is always unlocked) and there is a big open unloading area. The good thing about this area is you hear the trains blowing for Inkster Rd. to the East and you'll hear the Stark crossing blow from the west. Now, there will be a large stump of an old electric pole in the lot. Also a tractor-trailer.

Does anyone know anyone locally with a Green Interpid with the licence plate TR8NUT? (forgot if is 1 N or 2) I presume it means Train Nut......

Another good place would be the Meijers Parking Lot, closer to the railroad bridge over Middlebelt. Good look east to the Yard. I prefer the west end.

But, I like my spot. It is open, but no one ever comes down that far. So I am down there by myself. It is good an quiet to hear the whistles. I have not yet seen Middlebelt getting switched yet.

Like to have a buddy out there. You are welcome to join me, Stitch. I only go out on good days though. And, also when I am not working. But, it is a good place to park and wait.

Ok, if you try my spot, if you look east you may get annoyed by the cat tails. However, if you are going down that street there is a big open field and a truck parking lot. Walk down to the end of the truck parking lot (go east) towards TRW. You'll come down an embankment and there is an abandoned industrail spur. Walk north, and it connects with the passing track on the Division. From there you can see the C&O Signal Bridge to the East. There it is really open. You could get some good pics there.

But, I am not sure if thats trespassing. Might wanna try the Meijers Parking lot. If you stay on the side where the Garden Area is, there is some parking near the tracks. You could see better.....

Don't wanna get anyone in trouble.....

Well I took a ride down there today. Ok there was a long truck loading dock to the left and locked fence at the end of the street and to the right a building looked closed Digitron. On the same side of the street I think is what you are refering to there was an opened fenced in area with some truck in there. I wanted to make sure this was the location before I went in does it sound right or am I on the wrong street?
