Thanks Cooks
I would like to thank ladyrailfan and Gregg's mom for taking the time to cook the hot dogs and who ran to the store for more buns so everyone could eat. THANKS GIRLS! Also who brought the gas grill was a life saver.
A great photographer can make a great photo out of any kind of light from any angle at any time, life is not a studio! There is no such thing as bad light.

NO Dennis Ladyrailfan & Gregg's mom cooked, the gentleman with the great LP grill help them get set up and did help them and is the one I think that ran to the store for the buns, I think you help them get set up along with me. But there is no need to thank them I already did. Whats sad she asked for help with the grill and was told no by one railfan. By the way Dennis not only did they cook but they were the last ones to eat.jukeman wrote:I thought the girls said they wouldn't cook and a gentelmen "who I'm sorry I don't know his name" did.

Some of my shots from the day...sorry for the lack of thumbnails...as I have to use dial-up to upload 'em, I figured they were small enough to show as is...
Can you say 'Amtrak'?
Some ways to spend some of the long afternoon lull between trains:
Photo line of sorts for the inbound HESR train:

Hey I made it in the pics, especially the one me and Dane were advertising Coca-Cola. "Coca-Cola, the drink of railfans, brought to u by Durand Union Station, where every railfan can feel right at home!" Gregg's train dance was hilarious, it made my sides split lol. The pics posted of the peeps turned out great. I had a blast that weekend, and i'll say this much, bring on the summer meet, Im eager to come back to Durand.
