NS office car special

The word is out, so heads up Tuesday and Wednsday for the NS office car special on the NS Chicago Line.

Power-NS 4270, NS 4275, NS 4276
Cars-NS 5, NS 26, NS 23
NS 5, Maryland, is a open end passenger car.
NS 23, Buena Vista, is a theater style observation car.
NS 26

Tues. 9:30am departing Croxton NJ.
Cleveland to head for Toledo at about 1500 on Wednesday.

If you chase or go see this train be smart and observe the rules so they will keep running this special train.

If it leaves Rockport/Cleveland on time, it should get to Toledo around 1700 (5 p.m.), give or take half an hour.

Expected at Elkhart at 1900 (7 p.m.)

schedule is Alliance 1244, Ravenna 1310 (1:10 pm),
Arrive Rockport 1410 (2:10 pm), depart Rockport 1510 (3:10)and arrive Elkhart 2000 (8:00 pm).

Maybe (If not that en-routes) they will move looping on Second Kalamazoo from Elkhart through northbound Kalamazoo to Grand Rapids then back to Kalamazoo then go eastbound on Michigan Lines to Jackson then Second Lansing then back Jackson goes Detroit Lines, I guess so. :?:

Thanks for the notice.. Mr Hall and Scooter were going to go from Jackson down to Stryker or so... they got word in time at least, and are enroute to Toledo instead to watch them come in.

Wow wow and wow, Jon and I got it at Vickers than at the depot. pics tomorrow. Rumor is they will stop at Elkhart for tomorrow night, not sure on departure from Toledo.
Also remember what goes west has to come back east.

That is by far my favorite loco right now. I'd LOVE to see that come through Michigan on the CSX line.
