Got this info earlier today, but so far I've refrained from posting it.
Tomorrow's X500 (X500-10) will have Soo Line 6059 and 6035 leading it. The 6059 is a somewhat rare unit. It is one of only five SD60Ms on the Soo Line roster. This is an exceptionally rare occurance, as these were very infrequent visitors to Michigan even before CP moved everything to NS.
Here's a few photos of 6059:

While they are rare, I would not say they were rare visitors. I can recall seeing at least one a month, when I was working to Detorit, from Saginaw. Less frequent then the standard cab's, yes but then there are only 5 of them.

Looked pretty nice when the paint was fresh. I may catch them as I'm driving down to Chicago tomorrow morning. Hopefully I can pick 'em up on my scanner.

Yeah, I agree that the SD60M's weren't too rare. I saw them quite a bit when CP ran on CSX.

I agree as well that the Soo SD60M units are rare, but not rare visitors to Michigan. I have seen 4 of the 5 (including 6059) on X500 trains since May 23rd of this year. Only 6061 has not been seen since 8-17-06. As of 4pm, X500 was leaving Grand Rapids on Red Signals.
