Why is ironic that some jobs that were sent to Mexico, China, or India get shipped back here. on the contrary,guess quality does matter afterall.

Global warming is a hoax. Similar, but not quite the same, as Obama winning the Nobel peace prize for his "accomplishments". Yes, I know that could be considered a political comment, but...what has he really accomplished so far? The Olympics went to Brazil and he's apparently managed to piss off Iran...

Seriously, when I was at Michigan Tech ('80-'84), we didn't get a fast food restaurant until 1982, when Burger King finally moved in. Before then, people would make roadtrips to McDonald's in Marquette, a 200-mile roundtrip.

No. At least, not on my part. We did pick up the other guy's "friend" on the way back though...

FWIW...there's a burger joint in New Buffalo that makes really good burgers...and has fried mushrooms on their menu as well. Too bad they're closing for the season this weekend.


Oh yeah, we brought US12/20 back west, via Burns Harbor, Gary/Marquette Park and Lake Station. Like an idiot, I left all the cameras at home, so even if we had caught a train or two, no pictures. :(
