Amtrak 156 & 66 on 355

Not much of a trip, but I thought I would share my video and pictures. They were a sight to see coming in and catching the sun, the amtrak arrow is back along with classic red white and blue stripes. 156 is of course phase I and 66 is phase II

Nice shots ! I was lucky enough to catch them coming in on #350 and then again later on #355. As a matter of info, before the Michigan service was renamed Wolverine Service, the trains were named as follows: #350 & #351 were "The Wolverine", #352 & #353 were "The Lake Cities" and #354 & #355 were known as "The Twilght Ltd". I liked those names better than just Wolverine Service.

Nice videos.
Why can't they put all that modern technology inside an E-8 carbody? The newer locos are butt ugly!

I caught them going thru Ann Arbor today as #350. So expect them again later today as #355.
