Cool Stuff in Delaware, Ohio

Hello,
Tonight, I set out with my friend Patrick to see what trains were running at Milepost 19.8 on the Sandusky District. On the way there, I texted Geoff and he alerted me that the closest train was at Troyton. We rushed to the pull-off, but had plenty of time to spare. The train was 194 and as it approached the Milepost 23 signal they lost their EOT signal and the crew was preparing to stop, but they soon got it back. The train had a surprising pair of locomotives leading the long train…

After the train cleared, I walked over to the CSX track and noticed a headlight up the track. I stared at it for a few minutes and concluded that it wasn’t moving. Patrick and I then went up to the Curve Road crossing to photograph the train. It was K173 with one of sixteen CSX’s Yn3 painted AC60CW’s…
