After school, I went to Cheshire Road to watch trains. I checked the ATCS and there was already a train coming up the Sandusky Line. It turned out to be NS 852 with a trio of SD70Ace’s up fron

NS L3J was soon lined up to cross over from track two to one at Powell Road. It soon passes by, but I found it strange that the train then crossed back over from one to two at Milepost 26.

I thought I had plenty of time to make it down to Lewis Center to catch the next westbound, but I just barely made it in time to see 189.

NS L3J was working Marion Steel at this point and was occupying track two up there, leaving only one available track through between OBL and South Marion. NS 379 waited between Harvey and OBL for 862 and 189 to clear main one before it finally made its way east. It was about 5:30pm by the time it made it to me down at Powell Road.

That train met 962 at Worthington and that train turned out to be an 11 locomotive power move.

At this point, it was time for a left-over Popeye’s Chicken dinner with the family. Yum!

HOPE YOU ENJOY!
