On Conrail's 40th Anniversary at Milepost 10.7 on the Detroit Line, Conrail Trenton 3 reverses to pick up the conductor after relining the switch into BASF, then would continue back to River Rouge Yard.

At Pleasant St, they pulled north of YD and shoved back into the yard. :wink:

Next, Conrail RR-2 heads for the Long Marsh.

Meanwhile, NS 331 comes around the Junction Yard Runner from Oakwood.

On the Long Marsh at Belanger Park, RR-2 heads to Tecumseh Yard with a mix of Steel Coil cars and Gondolas for Tecumseh Yard.

RR-2 meets an Empty Delray Connecting RR Bottle Train returning to Zug Island.

NS 331 makes a pick up at the south end of River Rouge Yard.

At Dey St in the neighborhood of Delray, CP T-27 heads for Oakwood.

Shortly after, CP 244 passes Delray Tower on the way to Canada.

Later at Milwaukee Jct, NS 31M with a CSX engine, finishes their pickup at North Yard and continues south on the North Yard Branch.

On the CN side, after interchanging cars to Conrail and Detroit Connecting RR at East Yard, 950 waits their turn to continue north on the Holly Sub to work Gage in Ferndale.

Amtrak 350 turns the corner off the Shoreline Sub to the Holly Sub.

Lastly, CN 451 follows Amtrak north to Pontiac.

I like your report, CRD. Thanks for posting.

Just a minor correction, CN services MacDermid in Ferndale, not Gage.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

Was there a recent name change? The crew reported they would be working Gage but may not have been informed of a name change yet.

No, Gage has a plant there too. They're next to each other. But the spurs run along the back of the MacDermid plant so I thought that's who gets rail service. Ive worked in the Gage plant and they don't have a spur...at least not in the building I worked in.
