Not to offend anyone here, but you guys all complain about gas prices, and how you see very few trains at home. Dont go out for a few weeks (mabey skip going out to eat) and save up your money. Deshler from Detroit is only a few hours drive, only about 80 to 90 miles, or round trip of about 160 to 180, (may be a little closer, mabey 65 miles, I didnt google it, just a rough gess from the head). Now if your car gets at least 20 on the hwy., thats only about $32 for gas in a trip, even better if you get 25 mpg, at only about $28. Also gas is cheeper down here, so dont fill up before you go, and you can save a few dollars down here. Plus there are other places just as close or closer. Vickers from Plymouth is only about 50 miles. Thats only 100 miles round trip, and only about $20, and you can still see about 30+ or so in the day light. Plus all of these places can easly have over 80 trains in a 24 hour period if you want to stay that long. plus the longer you stay, the cheeper the gas becomes vs. number of trains.

Nice as usual Y@, I would love to have seen Q39003. It's looking more and more like I won't be Deshler bound until mid August.

forgot to mention a funny story behind Q32404 and K18505...

so Q32404 starts hauling major buttox once they clear north deshler, but the crew dies on the law in the haskins siding. K18505 is getting ready to transfer from a dock crew to a road crew at west stanley, when they're informed that Q32404 is fouling the main at haskins because they hit a cat and went into emergency thinking it was a small child (WTF?) before the crew expired. K185 cannot leave until this is fixed, but with no crews availiable, what do you do? well, have Q50605 take care of it! Q506 took the last car OFF of 324, and went into stanley with that car 2nd behind the lead unit, and in front of the trailing unit. the, you would think 185 is set right? wrong. they still have 542, 324, and 508 staring them in the face. they didnt leave till well after dark

Where is West Stanley? K185 is Middleton to Toledo Docks. And what is a dock crew. Train runs with a Cincy to Lima and Lima to Toledo. South works in reverse.

West Stanley=South Stanley

they were calling as a dock crew... i wasn't sure why, but they said they were ready to transfer from a dock crew to a road crew.

lately i've been noticing that sometimes they don't run as 185 both ways. once about 2 weeks ago they were calling out of Middletown at 3:00 a.m. as K186, saw them in deshler with empty K185 cars. he ended up meeting 185 in haskins that day at about noon. but for the most part, it's been K185 back and forth

Ok where is South Stanley? You have East Broadway, Stanley Tower three signals, Tracey Rd., Bates, and Perrysburgh.
