Alco on the Detroit Sub
Yes, your friendly neighborhood Coe Rail Alco S2 is currently tied up at the West end on either Track 2 or Track 3 in East Yard in Plymouth. Saw him from the 275 overpass at 2:30pm.... They had it tied up with a covered hopper on Monday.... Did not see it yesterday.... then saw it today on my way to class......
I went over to East Yard this evening before police training class. Ex-Coe Rail #52 was infront of East Yard on track 1 by itself and no cars. It was in the back of the yard early this morning behind a few CSX GP38s and an ES44DC long-hood forward with 14 cars behind it. I got a fair shot of the S2 in the yard. I couldn't get too close to it due to the "CSX No Trespassing" signs.
"...and I was in the front and Matt grabbed and pulled my ears from behind me and made horsey sounds."
Is it close to Haggerty or buried back in the yard? Might go by there tomorrow.

It was close to Haggerty Road today Eric. If it hasn't been touched by the yard job tonight, you should have a clear veiw of it.Stitch wrote:Is it close to Haggerty or buried back in the yard? Might go by there tomorrow.

Please do not poke at the ramp agent because he has the power to make your vacation
memorable or miserable. It all depends on what flight you bags go on.

Thanks for the good video's, Michael. And thanks for showing the whole trains. I especially like the angle of the 2nd video with the BN units and 103 cars
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

Good videos Mike and it was nice meeting you. I was able to catch K385's power when it stalled. I went back to tell ya Bill and Mike, but you guys were nowhere to be seen. Oh well. Sorry I had to leave early, but I had to work.

Maybe it's the "new" motive power for WATCO. The grass is growing around the loco faster than the deal trying to be made!gbw301 wrote:klwx 52 has been sitting in Lansing since 8/17/08
