I followed The Erie unit today from Just south of monroe t oMy house good trip all in all here are some shots

Great photos, especially the last one. Where were those last two taken?

The photo of NS 5262 was taken at Schaefer Highway on the Junction Yard Branch.

The second is from Outer Drive on the Michigan Line. Both photos were taken in Dearborn.

3rd picture is my favorite, very nice. in the first one i notice that on the left side there is crossing signal but no road, has the road been removed? :?

They are replacing the crossing with cement blocks, like what the UP uses on their main lines. Thats in Monroe and the bridge is over the River Raisen

Exactly. They had them sitting along the crossing when we were down there.

I only asked for location since I didn't see anything in Monroe that looked like a top down view of that picture. I had a feeling it was going to involve the Raisin River, since it was the only thing that seemed like a potential match. Makes me want to go up there and check that crossing out.
