434: Marquette Rail at the Sunnyside Wye

MQT Z151 @ Sunnyside

March 15, 2015 – Grand Rapids, MI: Marquette Rail’s Z151 makes a rare daylight appearance on the rails of the CSX in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ordinarily a nocturnal affair, daylight finds the shortline southbound around the west leg of the Sunnyside wye, on approach to interchange with the CSX at the latter road’s Wyoming Yard.

Catching the NREX 5418 is a treat, as she left the railroad on April 10th, 2015, to be returned to NRE.
