A couple weeks ago the Ann Arbor Railroad returned to the Saline Branch to pull some of the stored cars off of the branch. Here are my clips and a still from that night when they were going down for a crew change.

Always enjoy your vids, Ypsi.

Why are the crossing signal bonds so close to the crossing that the train needs to stop? Anybody know?

When the tank cars were stored on the branch, they were right up to the crossings in a few locations. I'd imagine that the railroad changed some circuitry or something to that nature around in order to prevent unwanted activation. The branch isn't in regular use so it isn't necessary for them activate earlier than in the video anyway.

Thanks. It looked a little weird in the video.
