Today I launched Virtual Reality railfanning videos on YouTube. I got a new camera over Christmas and have been playing with it for a couple weeks. After learning how to edit 360 clips, and getting a couple ready, I have launched VR videos this week! The idea is the viewer can choose what to look at. If you like seeing the 3/4 coming at you you can pick that, if you like to follow the locomotives you can. It is dictated by where I set the camera up and what the viewer wants to see!

Here is the first one of Amtrak 350 at Ann Arbor Michigan. Some notes: make sure to crank your quality up to HD quality on YouTube as if you don't it will appear blurry. Second, this only works on desktop YouTube or the YouTube app on a phone. If you try and watch this in a phones browser, it will show the entire 360 view and look strange.

It does work in this box, you can move with the arrow in the left corner of the screen, or use the W A S D keys like an arrow pad
