I caught what was most likely a decent sized L502 going south through Gaines on the Holly Sub at 7:10pm. IC 3117 was leading, and was smoking it up a bit pulling the train uphill. It must've been pretty heavy especially with a decent sized cut of what I believe were sand hoppers about half way through. CN 2836 was the trailing unit.

I believe you are correct strain that those 2-bay covered hoppers are frac sand for W&LE. CN also services two roofing granual plants in WI but I don't think any of those are on this train.
