The US Coast Guard had an open house at their Traverse City air station on Sunday the 15th. Arrived there about a half hour before they closed the gates and would say they had a nice turnout with the amount of people there.
The HH-65B and HH-65C Coast Guard Dolphin helicopters were on display.
The helicopters are looking good. I toured the American Eurocopter plant in Columbus, MS earlier this year and I was surprised to see those very helicopters stenciled with "Traverse City" sitting on the shop floor being refurbished. It looks like they did a very nice job with them. I'm glad to see them back in service.
