Charlie Sheen vs. bloody-nose gator

Have you seen the teaser for Charlie Sheen's new show "Anger Management?" The one where he derails a whole train led by espee colored RS32 #4009? The alligator with the operational gyralite? LEADING the EMD, where it belongs? Of course, they never show the locomotive derailed (obvious railfan sin), but he does a good job rolling the rest of the train off the rails......it's his 24th chance!

The ALCo's of the early 1960's (RS32 & RS36) dont have the same fame as their earlier and later brothers. The 32 is a 2000hp and the 36 1800hp. MIGN had one of them (32 IIRC). Don't know much about them. I will have to wikki them sometime.

The Alliagator's were RSD-15's with a low nose. Railroad to purchas the low nose versons, were the ATSF (50) & SP (13 total) companies (TNO & SSW). The nose on the RSD-7's and 15's were the same length, but it was the low nose verson that got the nickname. That unit there has the standard lenght ALCO pre-Century series nose. Sorry cant seam to find any diagrams or info on the diffrence in length for the nose, but I would guess its about 2 1/2 feet to 3 feet longer.

Wow now my next question is, I know about the HR412W's that GLLX/MQT had, but when did GLLX get C420's?

The GLLX reporting marks were loaned by the GLLX Godfather to the guy that owned that C420 for it's move over NS a few years ago. Not sure where that engine ended up.
