I have had Krystal and White Castle within minutes of each other "just because" in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The sliders are darn near identical, krystal is slightly more mustardy.
I like them both.

Pecan is great but, have you ever had peach pie in Georgia?TC Man wrote:That's easy- Pecan pie!!!TSB wrote:Had to go to Alpharetta GA on Tuesday and back Wednesday.
After driving 350 miles to exit Florida, it was another 270 in Georgia.
It was those 270 Georgia miles that were the problem.
A burning question was ever present every mile.
The return trip was worse.
The constantly daunting question hammered away at me.
The consternation was overwhelming.
Every mile
haunting
taunting
teasing
tormenting
peach or pecan pie?
Not the same as somewhere else.

Probably as good as Michigan Peach Pie. Like Georgia Peach Pie, Michigan Peach pie is usually made from fresh peaches grown locally.TSB wrote:

Personally I prefer Pecan Pie over Peach Pie.
I think my favorite is Apple Pie.

Peach all the way. I think any fresh peach pie is about the same and amazing. Canned stuff is for the birds.

Worked in the High Desert area of CA this week (near Cajon Pass!), first night went got my requisite Double Hamburger at In-N-Out (I call it In-N-Wait; it's never fast, but it is worth the wait). Second night went to a forgotten favorite, El Pollo Loco. Those seem to be throughout the Southwest; I even saw one in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico when I was working there. All flame broiled, well-seasoned chicken, and they have a dollar menu as well - very tasty tacos and such. I like the grilled chicken breast special, with steamed broccoli & salad, less than 300 calories, about six and a half bucks.

National rollout marks company’s biggest initiative in six years, will require menu changes
McDonald’s Corp. is embarking on its biggest operational change in years with plans to offer breakfast items all day at its more than 14,300 U.S. restaurants.
The move to all-day breakfast, which McDonald’s has been testing since March and will start Oct. 6, was approved in a vote by franchisees last week and affirmed Tuesday by a franchisee leadership council, the company said.
The expansion marks the latest initiative under Chief Executive Steve Easterbrook, who took over on March 1 vowing to revamp the burger giant’s stale image and end a sales slump in the U.S. that began nearly three years ago.

Do you have a laptop? No.
Yes? Now you have to ask whether or not the place you want to go has wifi. And if it has wifi, are there outlets available?

I wonder if this will cause the price of eggs to go up in the short term?
