I agree, it's definitely the lead into Fermi. I ride my bike over that crossing quite often.

If I'm correct, and it is Fermi, I'm interested in knowing the back story how a BNSF engine was on this line?

It's highly likely a BNSF engine lead the last train through
False hint. Mistaken for the spur to consumers in Whiting.

Thank you. I think the last train down the Whiting Spur was about 5-6 years ago.

The road, bridge and building in the background are all still in use. This should be an easy one for DaveO.

I swear I know the overpass, But I’m forgetting where exactly, I’m going to throw Battle Creek and The west side of Detroit out there for my guesses

I've had the same feeling, I swear I know that overpass.

My first thought was in front of the Toledo Zoo, and my second was where Southfield Freeway begins/ends in Allen Park because that photo looks like one I've seen before I-94 was built. I think both are wrong because of that building in the background.

Wait, this isn't I-75 looking south from MCS is it?

Edit: Nevermind, that building in the background isn't there.

North view of the High Line crossing the John C. Lodge Freeway.
Likely at the time of the photo it carried no route designation.
Now is M-10.
Building in the background is the National Biscuit Company Factory.

The road no longer curves there, that's why I dismissed it.
