In the past week I purchased a Maxtor 500gb for a hundred bucks. Works great and now I don't have to delete photos because I have too many for my computer!

I've had an external HDD since computer issues in December resulted in having to use school computers with very little storage space. Even though I couldn't use the external with the @#$# school computers, I use it to back everything up once in a while. With 500GB on the external device I can even keep my older RAW image files on there, rather than on the computer's HDD. Definitely a worthwhile investment.

Recently, I bought "My Book" (EHD) of the West Digital 320GB. My photos moved in them then the computer's a headache off from motives as slow and jerks. That's much better.
