Not much street view to verify in this part of the state, but from the aerial views my guess is Akron, Mi.

Hints:
  • -Southeast corner of the state
-If this picture was taken many decades ago, you would've been looking at a railroad crossing, the tracks belonging to what is now CN

Was it a Grand Trunk line at the time the tracks were removed?

An easy one while everyone work on Burbs photo. Bonus points if you can tell who the railfans in the photo are.

Romulus looking east... almost looks like Ben and Redside20... no idea why those two would be near each other though.
Maybe it's Ypsi and Conrailman, his brother?

Burb's photo has so little to go on... trees...

Yarg. We don't hang out on the ballast at romulus.. Some do we don't prefer as the police presence is decently high in romulus since the police station is just across the tracks downtown basically.

So this is in Akron. Nice guess, Pixl.

I've been to Akron twice and recall the Cooperative Elevator's metal bins but don't recall this one. Can you tell me something about it? It looks like they load bagged beans. Who operates it? What kind of traffic do they ship? Any idea how many cars they ship?

It is indeed Romulus Zack but I have no idea who those guys are either. It is just a Google Street view but the one guy definitely has a camera and they drive an A-Team like van

No, but it did belong to a railroad that was later acquired by GTW.

Is it an old branch or spur off the D&TS?

Close.

It was a former DT&I branch.
