there were always run-arounds/sidings there AFAIK, so they probably ran-around there to minimize shoving moves?J T wrote:What was the procedure if they had a bunch of cars to take to Electrolux in Greenville? Run around the cars on the passing siding just east of the Segwun crossing and then shove them on the connector south across Grand River Ave before they could go north over the diamond and bridge?Mark F wrote:The connector track in the NW quadrant at Lowell was constructed sometime in the last 10-15 years.

Not Antrim, too far North, but it is on the same railroad that serves Antrim and Manton.AARR wrote:Manton was too far south.Pixl wrote:Ok, an additional clue has been added to the photo. Look closely.

I contacted the Kingsley Village manager to ask about the history of this place. His answer...
That used to be the Old Farmer’s Co-Op building. It was at one point a grainery, co-op and other rail depot. The building is no longer there (torn down in late last fall), so the site is now a green area.

Can't be too far "up north", we don't have any track that straight around here. This is going to take a while.Michael wrote:He is an up north non Google Street view for you Pixl
