That doesn't happen to be the train that GLC ran last year with two MiTrain Bilevels and the SRI power car is it? It had a Geep on each end and the roofs seem to match the train.

How cool is that! A little south of Cohoctah off Sanford Road. It must have been there a while because it is view able from 3 angles.

Never ceases to amaze me what people post on this thread. Incredible that it happens to be THAT train, although I was wrong about the power car and it was the brown GLC coach.

Z,
Your last photo may start a new category, finding trains captured by satellite.
If you recognize the equipment in this photo it will narrow down the areas you have to search to find the spot.

That was quick..good work. Post photo in gallery, it should auto resize it. Could post to imgur.com like i do most of these. Or you can resize it first :)

Next one... line's been gone since at least when I visited a nearby factory more than 10 years ago:

This one should be easy, given the train name. But, there aren't a whole lot of defining characteristics of the scenery. Looking for the road xing specifically.

Now I recognize that spot!!!!

Okay, we talked about it briefly at the Tippy Cow meet tonight. Let's straighten this out a bit, since several people have begun to ignore this thread on the basis of multiple photos running at the same time, all over each other and stuff.

So, ONE photo at a time. This goes until that photo is found correctly, by proclamation of the poster or somebody shows their own captures, etc. Once it is dead, it is open season for the next image, and we go with whatever/whoever posts next (if an image is outstanding, DO NOT post another one until the outstanding one dies). If you posted the last one, wait 24 hours, to give other people a chance to throw theirs up. If nobody has posted a new frame within 24 hours, then go ahead with your next image.

This way, only one will be running at the same time. This also means that you don't have to QUOTE THE IMAGE. Do not quote the posed image or associated text. Simply reply with your guess, and leave it there.

Hopefully this should cut down on the piling-on that has begun to happen. I think we all want this carried out more effectively. I know nobody appointed me as leader, but lets try it out.

For now, let's make this the active image. I can confirm that mine is Wingleton Road just west of Baldwin, JT obviously knows where it is :P

I love how Alex ranted about the photos yet he never told us the answer to any of them.

I get lost in the thread, that's why!

AARR was correct on the one awhile back, it was St. Johns.

The two JT Photos I posted were Bangor and Kirk

Correct! It's technically in Parchment located on Commerce Lane.

What, didn't want to keep my image as an active one? And if you didn't want to have more than one active one at a time, why did you post the MQT where is it when my Kalamazoo shot hadn't been guessed on? And to think you wanted to get away from the MQT name, lollerskates.
I do agree though, one active photo at a time please, helps keep things a little more organized.
