Well while we wait for Mr. Bentley to give a hint on his mystery swamp, let's try this location.

Rumor has it that there were some railroad cars left behind when the railroad abandoned this line that may have contained some automobiles.M.D.Bentley wrote:[/url] My turn . Mid state-ish.

I see it now. I passed over this area several times, and am surprised how erased the grade has become. This led me to find the discussion you guys had about the box cars on this board. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=19643BDG wrote:Tittabawassee River/Wixom Lake east of Gladwin.M.D.Bentley wrote: Rumor has it that there were some railroad cars left behind when the railroad abandoned this line that may have contained some automobiles.

Looks like Muskegeon. Somewhat of a guess because I'm in a restaurant now and can't get Google Earth to work here.

Does the baby food plant in Sturgis still burn coal?

You got it.
Really! I don't see it on Google Earth or Street View?
Thanks Pixl, I took the photo Sunday, coming home from the meet. I don't recall seeing it the last time I was in WP, this would be near the new engine house, west of the paper company. If it's not on Google, it may well be fairly new. The coal hoppers were something I hadn't seen in WP before.

Vickeryville is East of Greenville and Sheridan out in the middle of no-where-ville, I didn't think anyone would know this location and it would last for days.
Built in 1888 the last train passed thru here in 1983.
