1223 you are very correct! Nice work! When I was tracing the BCG&A grade one day on Google, I was amazed to see Streetview was all over the ski resort. Here is a trace of the grade I made going right across the parking lot of Boyne Mountain Resort. Part of it is still in use as a service drive.

I know part of that Ski Resort is built on top of former railroad property and I didn't know of another location in the state that had a ski resort by abandoned grade. These rails were abandoned in 1975.

AARR is right about Thompsonville (where the AARR & PM met) being close to Crystal Mountain Ski Resort but the old ROW is maybe a mile from the resort.

The truck in the picture has auto frames from the Tower plant that used to go by rail in dedicated trains to Warren Assembly. Now they go by truck to Toledo's Jeep plant.
