From my view,i thought the moment when Steve's head smacked the ice is what did the damage to the neck..I can't keep up with ya on this hockey talk lol...you ever thought of writing a book Tops? Tho i must say the Avs/Wings rivalry of the 90's was one of a kind and very fun to watch.Everyone always marked the calender for when there next game against each other was..You had people fighting in those games that rarely fight..Forsberg from the avs..theres multiple wings that fought that weren't classified as fighters. When you watched those games you knew there was gonna be a fight. It wasn't a matter of if but a matter of when..and who could forget Vernon vs Roy and Roy vs Vernon.

Haha...I've already written a book; it's just on here and in pieces.

It's definitely something else what that rivalry was. I still love watching the game from March 26, 1997. Fight after fight. There's still a little bit of a rivalry there, but both teams have gone through a lot of lineup changes. Patrick Roy and Chris Osgood fought a year after Roy and Vernon went at it.

I sound like a hipocrite saying this but on the flip side, I would be very angered if someone broke one of the Red Wings' necks. I guess if you have it coming, not that it would make it any easier to deal with or make it right. Thing is, the Bertuzzi incident is in the past, people make mistakes and the intent was not to injure him. It was an accident, he was very emotional about it and sincerely apologized and was rightyfully punished.

I knew about the tickets wrapped in the shirt before you did  Good luck with the game vs. the Blackhawks. eheh. Not that the game I'm going to is going to be any better :? We should have most of our injured players (save for Franzen) back by the time they play Sharks on 2/11 but 1/17 may be pushing it. We probably have some but not all back.
