I'm going to guess it's at Duffield Road in Argentine Twp.
If that is correct, the signal to the north at Ray Road is CP Gaines.
It is a CTC, not ABS, signal.
The station sign stating CN Gaines is a giveaway, plus ABS signals have a number plate on them.
Also if my guess is correct, the area code is 810, not 248.

We referred to absolute signals like the one at Gaines as "hold out" signals. On the Saginaw Sub, we had them at 7-Mile Rd and at South and North Holly. On the Ludington Sub, we had them at Dean-Midland and at Baldwin. Important to note: Don't bring a train from each direction up to one of them, unless you really want one train to have to back up!! I could offer a dissertation on why we had them where we had them, but I will spare you that misery!
