Another great railroad photographer gone by the wayside. I was a fan of his work. I even took a picture of a boxcar , A long time ago with " Jim Boyd uses Photomat " scribbled on it and sent him a copy. He will be missed. God speed.

In the video, "Alcos, Iron Ore and More" (1985) Boyd did an enthusiastic narration that made it seem like he was in the room with you.
