What would anyone reccomend for a hand held scanner? I will go without before I spend $400 on a scanner. If one can be had for less than $150 that will do the job, I sure would like to know about it. All I intend to use it for is railroad dispatch while trackside.

A good information site

Bearcat, or Radio Shack scanners should work great easy to use, put the bling in a good antenna, worth way more than the type of scanner.
