Grand Junction NYC Depot Fate

Unread post by MQT1223 »

Saw a post recently on Facebook concerning the fate of Grand Junction’s NYC Depot. Apparently the building after its railroad days were over was bought by a local orchard in the area of where it once stood and used for storage however it is not known if it still survives or is long gone.

Anyone have any leads on this?

I don’t know the awnser to your question unfortunately…but this does bring up a question that I was hoping to find an awnser to from awhile ago. When was the GJ depot last used for passenger trains? I’m trying to learn the history of the west side of Michigan railroads and I’m really eager to learn.

Depends on which depot you are referring to.
