Re: *heads up* DMIR ore cars on CN 301
Thanks for the heads up on this. I wish I had read your post before I went to Durand yesterday but I did manage to catch all of 301 on video and was pleasantely surprised when those ore cars went through. Please advise if you see anymore heading this way, thanks.

Stephen,
Not much here either. ATCS still is down. I dont plan on being in Durand tomorrow but maybe Thursday. Sunday I will probably show up in Durand after 4449 arrives. Im going to get some shots of it west of Durand first.
Jim,
Yes, same one, thanks! How did your night photo shoot for GLC go? Sunday's weather is looking good for 4449s arrival!!

Re: *heads up* DMIR ore cars on CN 301
We buy, and sell old shopping carts along with rebuilding or scraping them. We sell and ship them to stores all over the state. In the old rail bay shopping carts are stacked from one end to the other about 9 high. No kidding we have probably 500,000 shopping carts there. I think the switch may still be connected and the rails are still in the rail bays. Some heavy duty welding used to go on there. there are still plenty of outlets for i think 440 Voltz that used to be hooked up to the welders. FYI from what i could see there were three rail cars for the GP plant right next door. I might wonder over and get some numbers tommrow

It went very well Greg (see my trip report in the trip report section). The weather looks perfect for the 4449...now all I need to do is find a way to get down!
