Interesting, I may have to go to Brookfield then since it'll be passing through there twice! On nother note, the local nwspapers say 4449 will be making a stop in Naperville to detrain some passengers and also to be serviced.

As an update to what I had posted before, the IHB had refused to move the train WITH passengers. They did allow the lite engine move. It will go BNSF to La Grange, IHB thru Blue Island to the NS at CP 502.

Amid all the excitement surrounding 4449's final approach to Owosso, another visiting engine are also enroute. Little River Railroad's 4-6-2 110 is supposed to arrive at SRI's site sometime tomorrow. The 110 will have one of the more important duties at Train Fest, as it will be powering the hourly train rides at the festival.

You're both wrong! It is now the Willits tower. :)
Although I'll always know it as the Sears tower.

GRHC - you know every night I can imagine he is in front of his computer screen sitting in his underwear swearing profusely and drinking Blatz beer combing the RailRoadFan website for grammatical errors.

I would suggest hanging around the Wabash (St. Joe/Butler) sometime late Tuesday morning.

Anyone plan on going to Michigan City tonight or maybe Porter? Might get some night shots with just the 4449.

As JT alluded to with his funny pic of Gary Coleman, it's actually Willis, not Willits. (not sure if that was an accidental typo, but since the T isn't near the I or S, I'll assume it wasn't
