Re: CN Updates
A decent number... i couldnt tell you exactly but a lot come through between 11pm and 11am. Thats when the majority run. Unfortunately tonight its dead compared to last night when there were about 10 trains in under 8 hours.TwisterJay29 wrote:How many trains do you get through your neck of the woods a day Okemos?

If it wasn't for Amtrak, it would be a ghost town here, lol. Take away those and there would be like 2 or 3 trains a day coming through here.

Re: CN Updates
according to sources on the CN yahoo board, CN 47291 is a reincarnation of CN 392 whose traffic which has been tied on to 148 for the last couple of months which was a long as 2 and half mile long at times when tacked on to 148. 472 has traffic off of UP at Proviso Yard which was what 392 previously ran from. This long train caused delays to other trains. In other news steel is being shipped out from US Steels Hilton Works in Hamilton Ontario which had been recently shut down for the last few months. road switchers in Hamilton pick up to steel and forward it to Aldershot where it is transferred on to M301 and other trains for mostly us connections.

Re: CN Updates
CN 5795 North has a track authority to proceed from Nolan to Haven at 1143. Sounds like they will have a crew swap at Haven, so I would expect 383 to be there.
