Re: Amtrak,Dearborn
Dearborn Amtrak Schedule
Westbound to Chicago
Train 351 Arrives at Dearborn at 7:11am
Train 353 Arrives at Dearborn at 11:50am
Train 355 Arrives at Dearborn at 6:40pm
Eastbound From Chicago
Train 350 Arrives at Dearborn at 1:43pm
Train 352 Arrives at Dearborn at 6:23pm
Train 354 Arrives at Dearborn at 11:59pm
This information is available at Amtrak's website as well as current train status:
http://www.amtrak.com
You can also call 1-800-USA-RAIL for Train Status.
Good spots to watch the train include the Dearborn Amtrak Station, although the platform is now only supposed to be accessed by Ticketed passengers and those meeting people on the train.. letting them know why you are there couldn't hurt.
Grade Crossings include Mason and Monroe Streets in downtown Dearborn. These are metered parking spots, see Map:

Hope this helps,

That has always been a Amtrak rule I believe, nothing really new(right?) Generally all the stations I have been to no one cares at all. I think this rule generally applies to their main stations and not smalls local stations like Dearborn.Mackinac Mac wrote: Good spots to watch the train include the Dearborn Amtrak Station, although the platform is now only supposed to be accessed by Ticketed passengers and those meeting people on the train.. letting them know why you are there couldn't hurt.

Don't forget the Dearborn station is City of Dearborn property. Station built by the City. I have never had a problem there but usually stay at far ends of platform.
