Re: Where EZ it?
Time for another hint. Two part.
#1 This is just a few hundred feet away, and was part of a old elevator.
#2 Within a two hour drive from my house.

Is it somewhere on the old NKP Clover Leaf? Or the N&W between Toledo and LC?sd70accsxt700 wrote:No Y@ is still closest with Toledo.

Re: Where EZ it?
Ok a few more clues, and we will see what happens. First off this line became part of the great NYC, and also was the mainline for quite a few years. The direction is east of Toledo.

Re: Where EZ it?
Ex-NYC Milbury-Fremont original mainline west to Toledo in Elmore, OH (and if that's wrong, perhaps Lindsey, OH?) Neat piece of former ROW... If I'm right, I can dig up a picture from Freemont looking NW down the old main (at the diamond where the rails are still in and NS still services).

Here's a "way back in the day" view of the old main in Elmore:
And the LS&MS station:

Re: Where EZ it?
Not Elmore, but your backhand guess was right. Lindsey, Oh. Not sure what the first building was, but the second was part of the origonal elevator there. You wernt supposed to put the brige photo up, that was going to be one of my next "Where EZ it?"

Re: Where EZ it?
Rather then start a whole new thread, I will just add on to this.
Here is the next one, no clues to start, as I think one of the photos should narrow it down a lot. The first photos shows the old road bed, electrical boxes, and the base of the tower. It was actually a three way diamond, but I dont believe the tower controled the third diamond, as it was either a trolly or interurban ran down the middle of the street.
