I hope that's in the works. I hear the customer south of the Lapeer bridge hasn't received cars in a while and for the longest time they were a nice steady customer with almost always 2-3 tank cars on their spur.jukeman45 wrote:Make lotsa money and fix that Lapeer bridge

A pair of ADBF GP's went north @ Jackson about 3:30 this morning with a decent-sized train.

I believe the 1760 is set up long hood forward. It's ex-PRR/PC/CR/NHN 7015.

Re: Jackson-Lansing Railroad
Anybody know where they're keeping the power?
Re: Jackson-Lansing Railroad
These two would seem to be headed to the Jackson yard. I would assume they are parked there when no in use. But, I am just assuming.

They came in light and headed back north about 2-ish with a good-sized train.
The power is not kept at Jackson, but in a secure location.

OH MY! There not based out of Jackson! Sorry but this burned my ass for some reason. Maybe now all the pretenders who dont work for a railroad will quit guessing about crap they dont know nothing about. But some how I dont think they will.

Re: Jackson-Lansing Railroad
Take it easy... he said he's assuming and then reiterated that fact about assuming again. I don't like it too much for when someone states something as if it's a fact when they are just taking a reasonable guess, but if someone clearly states that they are guessing, there's no problem with that. What, us non-railroad workers can't take a stab at a guess now?
When non-techie people chat with me and think they know the answer to a problem and guess at why a PC doesn't boot, sometimes they are on the right track, sometimes not, but I have no issues with them trying to figure out answers.

Re: Jackson-Lansing Railroad
Actually my ran was not aimed at AC60CW, so I must apoligise to him, but there were others who told us railroaders that they knew what was going on and we had no clue. Sorry I know there is a lot of "water cooler" talk, on the railroad and some does spill over to here, but when it comes to certen "real" union and railroad stuff, people should listen, they might learn something.
