When they call Detroit "Auto Capital" they include the plants in the suburbs and lately I've noticed they like to include Windsor too. So although there's still fair amount of auto plant business in Detroit proper far more is located in surrounding area.AC60CW wrote:Detroit may be known as the Automotive Capital, yet very few companies produce automotive stuff there. Only GM has Hq in Detroit proper. Ford is in Dearborn. Chrysler in Auburn Hills. Nissan's main location in Farmington Hills. Toyota's in Ann Arbor. Hyundai's near Ann Arbor.
