Does anyone post on the railpics forum?
Just curious if anyone here posts on the railpics forum, and if so, how long does it take to get permission to post there? I sent a PM to one of the mods almost a week regarding posting on the forum and have yet to get a response.
The worst part about it is there is NOTHING in the FAQ section regarding posting abilities, nor is there any explanation elsewhere on the site with that info (as far as I can tell).

A response to Scooter from the shoutbox:
Scott, I can log in just fine, and it even lists the new threads/post since my last visit. But when I try to post, I get this:JT all you should have to do is log in to the forums and start posting
I guess my account must not have sufficient privileges. Well, if that's the case, how do these newbies with NO pictures submitted to railpics get to post there? I don't get it.JimThias, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

JT I checked the member list and didn't see you if you are JT there. The home page and the forum have two passwords and user names if you are talking about Railpictures.net I'm sure you know that.
A great photographer can make a great photo out of any kind of light from any angle at any time, life is not a studio! There is no such thing as bad light.

Maybe you really are logged in, but your pages are reloading older cached pages when you try to post. Clear your temporary internet files, and delete your cookies. That may be all that's needed.

No idea how to do that. I'm a bit computer illiterate. That's half the reason why I have a Mac. haharailroadfan wrote:Maybe you really are logged in, but your pages are reloading older cached pages when you try to post. Thanks, Scott. User name is either Jim Thias or JimThias (although I prefer the one with the space). I actually registered a third one this morning with a different email to see if that would work. Still nothing.Scooterb wrote:PATC is in da RAIL.
