Turnouts at Hoytville
Turnouts at Hoytville
New turnouts are laying in the weeds at Hoytville. Before the rumors start flying these are not for Hoytville and will be used for the new interlocking at Galetea.

Speaking of Galatea, CSX has 99% of the area cleared of trees and brush, and there were work crews there when I went by at 9am this morning.

Speaking of Hoytville, I've heard a RUMOR that CSX wants to buy out the entire town of Hoytville so that they could expand the North Baltimore terminal in the future. Anyone on here know if there's any truth to it? I personally rate it one of those "I'll believe it when I see it" rumors.

Scenery is rapidly changing at Galetea.

I totally agree, I went up there on Wednesday and was surprised. Lots of CSX employees on the scene. Any idea when the connection is going to be completed?JoJames wrote:Scenery is rapidly changing at Galetea.
Thanks!

If weather holds. January first is a good possibility as this is a hot project.
