"Bold A** predictions" for the tigers 2013
As the radio broadcasters on 97.1 the ticket has been calling them, bold a** predictions for baseball.
I think that the tigers are going to make at least to the ALCS (and hope that they win it all)
Justin verlabder will have 20+ wins again, and both Cabrera and fielder will hit 40 bombs.

Can you bump this thread when they make the playoffs so we bandwagon fans can climb aboard? Thanks.

Is it the World Series yet? Call me when they look like they're going to win.

A bold prediction would be that the Cubs are going to win the WS. Predicting that the Tigers should do well with this team is just a smart one.
Re: "Bold A** predictions" for the tigers
its [almost] playoff time! odds are in the tigers favor, as any win, or any white sox loss the tigers will clinch the AL central... all be it not as most had expected them to (they were supposed to run away with it...)J T wrote:Can you bump this thread when they make the playoffs so we bandwagon fans can climb aboard? YAARR+1+1+1 They are among the team leaders in several categries including hitting with runners in scoring position but you would never guess it if you follow them. It has really hurt them that their 5-7 hitters are performing far below last year and their closer lives on the edge far too often.YpsiAmtrakBoy wrote:all be it not as most had expected them to (they were supposed to run away with it...)

They are the best of the worst!
But hey, if you make the playoffs in the MLB, you're pretty good.

Best of the worst? Not really. They just have a terrible manager and the bottom half of the lineup is terrible. You wanna talk about bad? Houston Astros.MQT3001 wrote:They are the best of the worst!

The Tigers are the best team in the worst division (wins in 1st place) in the major leagues.

The Tigers have done well against teams outside there division as have other teams in the central, the central has really beat up on each other though.

Wow...first time since 1935 that the Tigers have made it to the play-offs two years in a row. I find that extremely odd and incredible.
