"Like" Button?
Is there a way to get a "Like" button or something like that, such as a "Thumbs Up" button?
I think it would be a good addition to the board

I think it would be fun.
Re: "Like" Button?
Well there would be excessive use of this button by some members here........

Especially if you could choose weather or not to have "Like" on a post/thread. For instance, a good place to have them would be a Trip Report and the very least.

Or maybe someone could just say "nice pics" or "good shots" or maybe even a "Great Job!" lolMQT3001 wrote:Especially if you could choose weather or not to have "Like" on a post/thread. For instance, a good place to have them would be a Trip Report and the very least.

While I understand where you're coming from, MQT3001, this isn't Facebook. I personally don't care for the "like" button concept. If I want to "like" something I go to facebook. If I really like something somebody posted, I add to my post count and tell them so.

[LIKE]
Does that count?
Not sure on the like button. Seeing how the "like" button has been over done.

No, it would either be over used or neglected. This isn't Facebook.

No, I don't think we really need one.

Re: "Like" Button?
I guess the majority says no. That's fine.....majority rules
Do I have to offer a monetary reward so someone will actually post a REASON why they say no? Saying "I don't think it a good idea" dosn't cut it.

Re: "Like" Button?
Because it adds nothing to the site. It's a discussion forum. Saying "Good shot" or "I like this" adds nothing to the discussion.MQT3001 wrote:Do I have to offer a monetary reward so someone will actually post a REASON why they say no? Saying "I don't think it a good idea" dosn't cut it.

Alex, please think before you say things, your first post was fine, your second was just too much. This just adds to further ridicule and piling on when it comes to you.
