They have been running for a few weeks. Seems like about 20 cars on the last few 740 jobs I have seen. The former plant in Carrolton has a ton of tank cars right now, so molasses is on the move too.AARR wrote:Have the sugar beets started running yet?GTW6401 wrote:HESR 740 was working down at Monitor Sugar in Bay City around 1630, with the 5492 and 2014.

I take it you mean south he had two units one of the 4300's and one of the LSRC painted GP40's the power was in between Janes and Lapeer couldn't see the numbers. He had a total of 78 cars 58 cars of mixed and 20 windmill flats.Evan wrote:LSRC Z127 (NB) is by Bridgeport at 9:20pm

Lake State is currently pulling a loaded coal train into Consumers in Essexville.
They have 4 BNSF units on the train - 5909, 5727, 8856, and 6414.

It was the 2052. The 2003 is still out of service at the roundhouse in Saginaw.astrovanman1989 wrote:thurs morning just before 8am i caught the 2052 or 2003 returning from midland

How long after arriving in flint does it take an N956 (Z144) to depart for Saginaw? I've been trying to catch one for a while now.GTW6401 wrote:Lake State is currently pulling a loaded coal train into Consumers in Essexville.

It had the 1174, 1171 and the 800 and 94 cars he had 75 loads of grain on the head end. The 1178 suffered a major mechanical failure back in June and has not run since. The 800 will be leading coming back north. That will be kinda nice.Evan wrote:Heard LSRC heading north around 12:45, unsure of the power.

Wow, they must've had only the 1174 running because they were really struggling when they came by me.penn central wrote:It had the 1174, 1171 and the 800 and 94 cars he had 75 loads of grain on the head end.
