Norfolk Southern's High Nose GP30s
Does anyone know if any of these engines are pulling revenue freight today on a shortline of some sort?

I saw an NS high nose GP30 through Wyandotte maybe a year ago or longer. I've got one in HO.

No way in hell did you see an NS GP30 at all in the last 2 years. NS GP30's have been gone for a long time. The only things even remotely close to an NS GP30 that have been operational in the last decade are the Wheeling GP35's that came from NS/SOU, and most of those are gone now as well.

The only ex NS GP30's I'm aware of are preserved. There's a Southern one at Tenessee Valley RR Museum and an N&W one at the Virginia Museum of Transportation owned by the Roanoke Chapter of the NRHS.
